14 // Cold Box Qualification Protocol
You cannot use a multimeter. At these scales, noise looks like signal and signal looks like noise. To determine whether any observed energy signal is a genuine Casimir-cavity effect and not stray radio waves or thermal noise, we use calorimetry:
1. Isolate the core in a vacuum chamber shielded by lead (blocks radiation) and Faraday cage (blocks EM).
2. Submerge in liquid helium inside a Dewar flask.
3. Connect output to a resistive load (heater) inside the helium bath.
4. THE TEST: If the helium boils off faster than the control rate, energy is being added.
5. Since the box is chemically inert and EM-shielded, the only source is the vacuum.
Critical open question: The Second Law of Thermodynamics may well be ironclad at the quantum scale. If the universe refuses to re-inflate the gas atoms for free, the cycle yields no net energy. This experiment is designed to find out — the answer matters more than any product.
